Tibi Hrab joined Cordos in 2016 and currently serves as Senior Project Manager, bringing a strong technical foundation and disciplined approach to managing construction projects from early planning through closeout. Over the past several years, Tibi has focused primarily on public sector work, where his responsibilities extend beyond construction management to include bid preparation, subcontractor proposals, and navigating the complexities of publicly bid projects. Tibi builds trust with highly skilled subcontractors while remaining closely involved and ready to step in when challenges arise.
Tibi has led a wide range of education and public sector projects, particularly for Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Housing Authority. His work has included numerous exterior improvement projects such as playgrounds, athletic fields, tracks, nature playgrounds, rain gardens, and outdoor classrooms. With school schedules offering no flexibility, Tibi has developed a reputation for successfully delivering projects under tight, immovable timelines, completing all CPS projects in accordance with the approved baseline schedules while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Tibi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, an education that directly informs his practical, problem solving approach to construction. His project portfolio includes the restoration of the historic Phi Kappa Psi house in Champaign, Illinois; Local Foods projects in Chicago; multiple CPS school improvements; CHA elevator upgrades; and residential work such as the Buck Residence. Guided by the belief that solving problems, not creating them, defines successful leadership, Tibi continues to deliver high quality public projects that serve both communities and clients
