Verilife North Aurora mobilized in October 2023, a week after a project at the same clients’ future Ottawa location. Valued at $1.5 million the project took place in an existing 4,000 SF retail shell on a busy corner of the west-suburb village. The superintendents of both projects maintained an open dialogue, carefully scheduling crews to efficiently stagger their efforts between both projects. Faced with an aggressive delivery schedule and a design that was still being refined by the client, Cordos’ team worked diligently to push through design changes and maintain the schedule.

The project included a total interior buildout, new underground plumbing and slab, new mechanical systems, and IDFPR compliant access control/alarm systems. Cordos collaborated with both subcontractors from their Chicago associates, as well as local tradesmen, creating a qualified team, capable of executing the project quickly and within budget. Cordos' client-first approach and design-assist experience helped align existing conditions with approved plans.

While wrapping up the North Aurora and Ottawa projects, Cordos’ team began plans to mobilize at VERILIFE DISPENSARY | Romeoville, IL and the first New York project in this program, VERILIFE DISPENSARY | Latham, NY. Cordos continued to collaborate with Verilife on opportunities for cost and schedule savings for their future projects.
