Arlington Downs is a large scale multi-phase residential and commercial development located on the site of the former Sheraton hotel, that has overlooks Arlington Racetrack to the east.

Phase 1 included the re-purposing of the 13 story hotel into rental apartment units, and a subsurface parking garage to support the new residences. Cordos was retained to abate hazardous material throughout the 1960s structure, and to selectively demo the entire tower down to the concrete frame.

Working closely with the Owner’s project representative, Cordos substantially completed the abatement/demo project within 16 weeks from mobilization, but continues its presence on site performing of out-of-sequence work and additional scope at the request of Ownership.
