Benjamin Bedar leads construction teams on a diverse range of projects in public and private markets, including education, historical restoration, industrial, manufacturing, and retail. With creativity and focus, Ben has enabled Cordos to complete projects with challenging logistics and inflexible schedules. With an education in construction management and business, Benjamin’s emphasis on continued growth and improvement has helped Cordos to create a portfolio of successful projects and satisfied clients.
In 2016, Benjamin completed his first facility for a large multi-state operator in the growing cannabis industry. Since then, he has carved a name for himself in this industry with several other projects, including two of the country’s largest indoor cultivation and manufacturing facilities and several cannabis retail stores for a variety of clients. In this field, Benjamin has completed similar projects in several markets outside of Cordos’ home base in Chicago, including New York, Massachusetts, and Toronto. Benjamin’s work portfolio also includes a variety of Public Sector projects in Chicago for agencies including the Chicago Housing Authority, Chicago Public Schools, and the Public Building Commission.
Prior to joining Cordos’ team in 2015, Benjamin worked on several large projects in Chicago, including the Virgin Hotel and Wintrust’s Grand Banking Hall. Bringing past work experience from larger companies and some of Cordos’ larger projects, Benjamin is concentrating on continuing to excel in his current markets while helping Cordos grow and develop new relationships.
